Its almost time. The sun is drawing closer to the horizon, soon oh so very soon we will be allowed out to hunt. My entire family. We havent been allowed out of the house for a week the rare sun has decided to show itself. In an area where its usually dark, clowdy raining or snowing, the sun is rare. On clear nights we can see the northern lights, they are so beautiful. We cant go out in the sun because of our skin, it draws attention. ButI cant tell you why, we aren't alowed to tell humans what we truely are. But I can tell you how we got this way.A long time ago a disease ran through the human population, when they found a cure for it they treated every one. But they missed some, my great ancestores, they feared that the disease still lived amonst them and that new borns could catch it. But they soon learned that the babies carried immunity againts the disease in them. When some people dissapeared unexplained, and all investagatores could find were bones with scratches all over them they asumed wolves got them. No evedence being able to show them otherwise. But every one of us knowing what washappining to these peopletried totell them what was going on. In their arrogance, beliving that they terminated the disease, believed that it was animals that took the lives of humans. So my family up rooted and moved far from human population. We hunt deer once every 2 weeks to survive. There it goes, my favorite time of day, the twilight hours.
We are so thirsty, we don't hesitate......
