Only two more hours. I thought optimistically, slouching into my chair in precalc. This and gym. The first few days of school always seemed to go by pretty fast, but today had definitely seemed longer than the six hours it'd been.
I glanced around the room, looking for someone I talked to. No one. No one I liked by the overhead, either, looking for their name on the seating chart. A few attractive guys…but they were out of my league, the upper echelons of popular I couldn't reach if I wanted to. Not that I'm not popular, I mean, I'm not a social pariah or anything, for the most part…but anyway. Besides my first, fourth, and thankfully lunch, I didn't really talk to a lot of people in my classes. I couldn't wait for college.
I looked around the room again, praying there'd be someone I talked to.
I sank lower in my seat. Dear God, why! I mentally screamed. I looked around frantically, hoping no one'd notice me almost giving myself whiplash. People with last names after Fe- were to my left, which meant she'd be on my right, which meant… with a sinking feeling, I looked right again. Two rows. Two. Rows. Were all that was separating me from my ex best friend.
A/N sorry it's super short, I'm trying not to ramble like all my other stories lol
