September 6th 2010. That was the day my life went downhill. Fast. I don’t know what I did to piss off this Kylie girl so much.

6 hours earlier

As I ran out of my house and into my car I had 15 minutes to get to school. I was already half an hour late and I didn’t need to be put in detention on the first day back of high school. I pulled in to the school parking lot just as the warning bell went off. I sighed in relief. I heard a car honking it horn behind me and people shouted and swearing. Thinking it possibly couldn’t be for me I carried on walking to homeroom. As I reached the steps something hit me hard in the back of the head. I spun round and saw Kylie Johnson. Schools queen-bee and brook Bern’s biggest bitch, and her little crew storming there way over to me. Shit.

“Hey, I was talking you!” she shouted as neared me.

“Sorry I didn’t hear you” I nervously replied.

“Well get your nerdy fucking ass back down to earth and move your heap of shit out of MY parking space!” she shouted in my face causing me to step back.

“Ii… huhhh. Oh “I could stop stuttering

“Cat got your tongue, just move your car now!” she screamed and pushed me in the direction of the car. I fell to the ground in a heap. Kylie came over to me and started laughing as did her friends. There laughter was dissolved when the bell for homeroom went off. Shit I knew I was going to be late.

I picked myself up off the ground and ran over to my car. I started the engine and moved it. The only parking space I could find was a 10 minute walk from school. I sighed and got out of the car. I ran back into school and slowed my pace down as I walked into home room. All eyes were on me and I slowly manoeuvred in between the desks and sat down at my usual one at the back in the corner. After home room the day went by slower than a snail dying. I had at least 2 of Kylie’s ‘crew’ in every lesson and some even with her. I was excited about my next lesson. I had art and I loved art. The teacher let us choose what we wanted to do for the semester so I chose to draw and paint something. It was a lonely girl standing in a dark forest. Everything was painted except from the bottom part of her dress which was made out of dead/pressed flowers.

I was nearly finished the canvas, I just had to paint the trees and it was done. Well that was until Kylie came waltzing over with paint and supposedly tripped and poured paint all over my canvas. That bitch.

“Hey,” I shouted to her as she began to walk over to her desk. Instantly I knew I should have just kept quiet but it was no use. This anger was just building up inside of me and I had to let it go.

“I’m sorry did you say something to me, you ratty little whore” she laughed as she turned around facing me.

“Iiii……..sss..g.g” great. How come whenever I need to speak up nothing come out only stutters

“Awe, you should really get the stuttering sorted out.” She said laughing.

“Hey kylie seemed you missed some of art work” some guy said pointed to me.

My apron was covered in paint and so were my hands.

“Thanks Johnny, I wouldn’t want to leave a painting unfinished now would I?” she almost asking me before pouring white and black paint over my head and down all my clothes.

I couldn’t help it but I felt tears streaming down my face. I barged past her and her laughing mated and fled to the nearest bathroom I could find. I ran through the door and into a cubicle and locked the door. I fell to the floor and burst into tears.

Why me? What did I ever to her?

Those were the question that kept running threw my head as I heard the bell for next lesson go.
