When we got to my house, not 10 seconds later, my parents appeared. Mom had a red bandage over her chest and shoulder. Dad wore a body wrap to cover his back wound. They sat down on the couch and we sat on the chairs opposite. My dad grunts and asks,
“Son, we know that it’s against the laws of the immortals, but…ugh… do you love her, I mean truly love her?”
“Yes, father, I do.”
“And there is nothing we can do to change your mind about this judgment?”
“Not in my immortal life.”
“Then, there is nothing we can do but this.” At that moment, both my mother and father let out a blinding light pointed at Raven. She howled and started to change. She grew taller and her aura change completely. She started to grow wings on her back. One was as white as a fluffy cloud and had beautiful velvet feathers in the wing. The other was a large and jet-black leather bat wing that had spikes on the ends. Her hair changed so that half was white and half was black. Her eyes did the same. When it all ended, she looked like an angel-demon hybrid. I looked at my parents and my mother answered.
“Behold, Ravonya, the decider of the mortal souls. She will direct the souls to go to either Heaven or Hell. All you have to do is bring them to her.” She didn’t look happy about the change, but stuck with it. I looked at my love and asked if she was okay. She turned to me and said voice as soft as silk:
“Why, my dark angel, I'm better than I have ever been.”
