A/N: Oh my lordie! I just discovered my story is on the second page of the popular list! Thank you all so so so so much! I 'm soooo happy(: Anywho, this chapter is quite dramatic, and so are the next few. Enjoy!(:
I really hoped, just hoped she wasn't getting into anything with him. Something inside me told me she was. The day went by slowly as I waited to see
Luke. As I exited my last period class I was greeted at my locker with an ever so handsome Luke smiling at me. "Hey good lookin." I winked at him.
"Hello gorgeous." He smiled while I wrapped my arms around him. "What would you like to do this afternoon?" He asked releasing me to put my books
back, "actually I need to talk to Kate.." He pulled an exagerated frown. "Don't worry, you can stay the night if you want." I winked at him. "Is that a trick
question?" He laughed, I grabbed his hand and we walked down the hall.
I left Luke at my house as I drove over to Kate's. I pulled into her perfectly groomed driveway and walked up the front steps. I knocked on the door,
which caused it to open, and the sight before me brought back terrible, disturbing memories.
Kate had her arms laced around Gregory's neck smothering him with her mouth. Shit Kate, what have you gotten into? At the sound of my steps Kate's
eyes flew up to me, "oh, shit Norah!" She jumped off the couch and walked towards me "please let me explain!" She begged "Kate, can I talk to you for
a second please?" I ask tryig to control my breathing as the sight of Gregory still scared me. "Please don't be to mad! You two broke up!" She
sounded like she was about to cry. I walked into the spare room off of the living room, "Kate listen to me. You can't do this. He's dangerous, please
understand." I pleaded. "Norah I know this is hard for you, but you've moved on. And clearly so has he! I know you caught him cheating, but he
promised me he's changed!" She seemed annoyed all of the sudden. "Okay, first off, what about Sam? Second you have to listen to me, he's
DANGEROUS! Please stay away from him. I shouted, "Norah I never knew you as the jealous type! Get over it!" She pushed me towards the door,
"Jesus Kate! Will you listen to me?" I screamed. "No! I won't! Can't you just be happy for me?" She shouted shoving me out of the room. I saw Gregory
standing awkwardly by the couch. Kate pushed me out the door.
I stood on the front step completely dumbfounded at the events which had just occured. I walked to my car, placing my hand on the handle, "Norah, can
I talk to you for a sec?" Gregory came jogging down the steps, with the sight of him coming towards me I backed into my car, my first instinct being to
get away from him. "Please, don't be scared. I just wanted to tell you, that I do really like Kate... Cause she's a lot like you I guess." He blushed. "I'm
ashamed Norah, you know that. I will never touch another girl, ever I'm really sorry, again." I sensed the senserity in his voice, which gave me the feeling
Kate was going to be okay. Although this sertainly did not stop me from being completely terrified of being alone with Gregory. I started
hyperventalating and nodded, getting into my car. As I drove away he stood there, with an expression of complete guilt, and regret. I guess that the
thought of having a girl be completely terrified from being within 10 feet of you, could be a little unerving.
I got home and instatnly spilled out the events at a miraculous speed to Luke. He seemed to understand that I trusted Gregory with Kate, ironically
enough. Luke held me, for a long, long time which I enjoyed as always. "I love you." I whispered, "I love you too."
The rest of the week went by quickly, I avoided Kate because she still thought I was jealous of her. I did see Gregory and Kate in the hall together, they
seemed happy. Saturday came around all to soon, which meant my parents would be coming home and Gregory would have to stay at his house.
"Luke, babe! My parents called, they're going to be home soon!" I whispered while trying to wake him up Saturday morning, "mm.." He moaned
rubbing his eyes. "Morning beautiful." He smiled, "morning!" I grinned back he rolled out of bed kissing me before throwing his shirt over his head. "Do
you wanna come over tonight?" He asked taking my hand as we walked downstairs. "Absolutely!" I smiled kissing him before he stepped out the door
"I love you." I smiled, "I love you too, see you tonight!" He walked to his truck, and backed out. Moments after he left, my parents pulled in bounding into
the house showering my with hugs. Henry's team ended up coming in second in overtime. After making up stories of how I spent my week I went
upstairs to get ready for my dinner date.
I opened the door to his house, the smell of delicious food filled the air. "Mmm... I better be the one kissing the chef tonight!" I heard laugh as he turned
away from the stove kissing me, "who else?" I smiled and took a seat at the table. The meal was amazing, he was truely an amazing chef.
I took Luke's hand in mine, and lead him up the steps into his room. I placed my hands around his neck kissing intimately. I pulled at the bottom of his
shirt, he began to pull it off, but stopped half way. "are you sure?" He asked me timidly, I nodded. "This isn't your f.." He shook his head cutting me off.
"No, it's not. But I wish it was." He lowered his head, which I lifted with my finger and brought to my lips. He finished taking his shirt off, then grabbed
mine pulling it over my head.
I woke up the next morning to that wonderous smell I've had the pleasure of smelling once before, pancakes. Then I realized I never came home last
night, and my parents were most likely furious. "Shit!" I exclaimed rolling out of bed throwing my clothes on and running down the steps. "aww, dressed
so soon?" I heard Luke laugh from the stove. "Sorry, my parents are probably terrified. I have to go home." I ran to him kissed him gently, and tried to
pull away but was held there by his thumb. "I texted them last night, told them you were at Kate's." He whispered, I dropped my bag kissing him again.
"Your truely amazing." I smiled. "So, my friend is having a party tonight, interested?" He asked while flipping the panakes. "Sure." I smiled, even though
I was kinda hoping for another night alone, a party could be fun. After breakfast I went home to assure my parents I was still alive, and spent the rest of
the day with them.
I heard a knock at my bedroom door, I opened it to see Luke looking dazzeling in his jeans and polo. I put one last curl in my hair and followed him out
to the car. "Well, don't you look fantastic!" He smiled, "well thanks. Your not so bad yourself." I winked at him. We pulled up to Drew Benson's house,
which was already shaking with music and had micilanious red cups thrown around the yard. "Shall we?" Luke smiled taking my hand, and walking to
the house. Drunk people stumbled around, while the more sober ones danced in the living room. Luke handed me a red cup off the counter which was
filled with beer and grabbed one for himself. I sipped mine slowly, because personally I'm not one for getting drunk. Luke pulled me onto the dance
floor, twirling and swirling me with the music. We danced for what seemed like hours, having a blast. "I'm going to the bathroom!" I shouted over the
music, he nodded and stepped to the side of the croud.
The halls were filled with drunk people making out, shedding articiles of clothing, disgusting. After going to the bathroom I headed back to the
dancefloor to find Luke, although I didn't find him I did see Gregory and Kate. They seemed happy, which was good. But I still couldn't help but be a
little scared for my bestfriend. I kept looking for Luke, but I couldn;t seem to find him. I decided that maybe he went to find me, so I went upstairs
cracking the doors to random rooms to check for him.
And then I found him.
