I stepped onto the painfully sunny boat deck, watching Spencer fumble with some strings. "Well, hello hello!" Spencer winked walking over to me, looking me up and down. "Hi." I smiled, blushing as he held my hips between his hands gently swaying me back and forth. "On rule of this boat." Spencer whispered, "oh really, and whats that?" I put my hands on my hips cocking my head to the side. "You can't wear anything but this little bathing suit." He whispered snapping the string on my bikini bottoms. "Shut up." I rolled my eyes jokingly slapping him on the arm. He laughed smacking my butt as I walked to the edge of the boat. Watching the land disappear in the distance.
"I can't thank you enough." I smiled bringing the wine glass to my lips, since it is legal here. "I'm thrilled to be able to give it to you." He bowed, making me burst into laughter, already feeling the effects of the alcohol.
Picture your favorite vacation, thought of it? Okay, no multiply that by 30, and you might be close to how much fun I had with Spencer. From scuba diving, to bars on boats. It was truly incredible.
"Baby!" My mom shouted swinging open the door pulling me into her. "I miss you! How was it!" She screeched into my ears. "Great! Like, unbelieveably awesome." I laughed dropping my bags, and going back to the door to say goodbye to Spencer. "Bye babe." I smiled wrapping my arms around his neck. "I'll miss you." He whispered kissing my forehead, "I love you. See you tonight?" He nodded "Definitely." He kissed me quickly, remembering my mother was behind us.
My mother made me retell every little detail of the trip, which I reluctantly told. When she finally released me I jogged up the stairs to get ready. An unknown number flashed on the screen of my phone
***Hello?***
***Hey, Norah. It's Luke.***
***Luke, please just leave me alone?***
***I just wanted to let you know, I'm going to boarding school.***
***What?***
***My dad is selling the house, so I'll be gone next semester.***
***Oh, well good luck.***
***Thanks.***
***Bye.***
***Bye, I.. Bye.***
Its weird, as much as I love Spencer, a little part inside me hurt when he told me he was leaving. I pushed the thought away and searched through my drawers for something to wear.
