Prolouge:
Iridessa dropped to her knees as Matthias pierced the silver dagger into her heart. Matthias laughed, finally completing his one goal, his one wish.
“The princess is now slowly dying away. Now, I will take over, as king of Khanzadian. You failed, Iridessa.” Matthias said, lowering himself to her level. Iridessa looked up at him, her breathing short. She was holding the knife that was still pierced through her pale skin. The tips of her long blonde hair were now blood stained. Her eyes were draining of color as the life slowly left her.”
“Matthias, you haven’t won this battle yet. I may die now, but I will return. My soul will not die. I will not leave my kingdom to fend for themselves against your evils. When the sun and moon are in a perfect line together, after the seventh shooting star falls, a hundred years from now, my soul will be reborn. Enjoy your time while it lasts.” Iridessa said, as Matthias walked away, leaving her to die. She curled up onto the ground, and drew her last breath.
