Alessia awoke with a burning pain inside her head. It was obviously a spell to keep her unconscious for some amount of time. She tried to move, but realized that her wrists and ankles were tightly tied to a small metal chair. The chains around her were slowly cutting deeper, and deeper into her pale skin. Her longblack and blonde streakedhair was knotted, and caught in the chains. She could feel that her strikingly ambereyes were bloodshot. She wasn’t sure how she got in there, and how long she had been there. She heard the metal door creak open, and smash into the wall. A small light came on, although she couldn’t see the person in the doorway.
“Huh, Alessia, how nice to see you again. It’s been so long.” A woman’s voice struck through the darkness. Alessia recognized it, and couldn’t believe it. The woman stepped into the light, allowing Alessia to look over her features. She had tan skin, short blonde hair, and deep green, menacing eyes. She smiled a frightening demonic smile.
“Callie?” Alessia asked, in a soft, frightened tone. Callie laughed a little.
“Of course. Who else?”
“But, Alec, he…,he killed you. You were dead.” Alessia’s eyes were wide with fright.
“No, no, no, silly Alessia. I wasn’t dead. Do you really think his power was any match for mine? Oh, no. Especially with this amulet, there’s no way he could beat me.” She lifted a small amulet from her chest. Alessia recognized it immediately. It was small, and had a bright emerald green stone. It was created years ago by five witches, and was meant to stay hidden after the last of the five died. Yet, they found out about the amulet, and were determined to find it. Alec, Alessia, and Callie were a team. They went off in search of it. Callie betrayed them, and Alec was supposed to have killed her. Alessia had watched him cast the spell, and watched Callie suffer.
“How’d you get that?” Alessia asked, suddenly defensive.
“Ha, do you know how easy it is to get something from Alec? Drop your shirt and pants then you have whatever you want!” She laughed, and Alessia just stared at her.
“I haven’t even heard from Alec in years. Why are you suddenly getting your revenge now?”
“I needed time to make you think I was dead for sure, and come up with a plan. That way, I’m always one step ahead.” The tone of Callie’s voice was terrible. She obviously wanted to kill Alessia, but knew she couldn’t, it would destroy her plan.
