I forced a smile onto my face even though it creeped me out a little bit.
"What? You don't want to be my girlfriend?" he asked in an irritated tone as he pulled away from me. I guess he could tell I had forced the smile. He stood 5 feet away from me, glaring at me intently.
"I never said that Adam," I said quietly as I took a step towards him. I don't know why, but I had the feeling that him being in a bad mood was not a good thing. Something told me that I had to calm him down, or get out of there.
"But you were thinking it!" he said angrily as he crossed his arms over his chest.
"No I wasn't Adam!" I said in an irritated tone.
He grabbbed my right wrist tightly and pulled me closer to him. I whimpered in pain, and tried to pull away from him but he wouldn't let me. "I told you not to lie to me Taylor!" he said harshly.
"Adam! Please stop, your hurting me!" I whispered, as I looked into his eyes pleadingly. He stared at me angrily for a couple seconds, and then let my wrist go. I fell to the ground, holding my wrist trying to stop the pain.
Adam kneeled down beside me. "Tay, I'm sorry," he said quietly. He put his hand gently under my chin to tilt my head up but I pulled my head away.
"I wanna go home!" I stated as I tried to hold back my tears. My hands were trembling, and my breath was shaky. Was I actually scared of Adam?
"Please stay...just for a little bit longer! I promise I won't hurt you anymore," he said in a quiet tone. "Please..."
I debated on wether or not I should stay for a few minutes and then finally I nodded my head yes. I wasn't sure if it was the right choice but part of me was afraid to say no.
