"Did you just hang up on him?" Matt said as he stepped in front of me.
"Um...ya," I said sa I tried to step around him.
"What the fuck is the matter with you? Do you want him to flip on you?" he asked as he grabbed my shoulders and forced me to stay standing in front of him.
"What is he gonna do? Hit me in the middle of all these people? I don't think so," I said as I tried again to move around him.
"Ya, but when I get your ass to his house he won't have people to worry about!" he said as he grabbed my wrist again. This time his grip was tight and I knew I wouldn't be able to get away. Matt's phone started to ring again.
"Hello?" he said as he put the phone to his ear.
I could hear Adam yelling at Matt.
"Ya, I'll get her there," Matt said as he stared angrily at me.
There was a few minutes of Adam talking to Matt and then Matt hung up.
"He wants me to tell you that if you don't come with me now, he'll come here to get you and he won't be as forgiving then."Matt said as he started to pull me towards the exit.
"Matt! I'm not going with you," I said as I tried to pull away from his grasp.
"Don't create a scene Taylor," Matt said in a tone that made me obey him out of fear. I had no idea why I was walking with him to his truck, but for some reason I was afraid not to go with him.
The ride to Adam's house was silent.
When we turned into Adam's driveway I realized how scared I was. He had promised me that he wouldn't hurt me anymore, but something told me that his promise was about to be broken.
