The next day went by slowly. I just spent my time getting ready for going over to Adam's house for dinner. I remember thinking how hipocrytical I was.
I looked in the mirror one last time. My hair was perfectly placed, my make up was perfectly applied, and my outfit fit my body perfectly. I walked out to the living room, past Jeff.
"Where are you going?" he asked angrily.
"You said I could go to my friend's house for dinner...remember?" I asked in a shaky voice. I prayed that he wouldn't change his mind last second.
"Oh yeah...be back by midnight!" he said as he grabbed a handful of popcorn and shoved it in his mouth.
'Holy shit what's he been smokin'?' I thought to myself as I smiled and nodded at him. I walked out of the house and headed to the spot I told Adam I would wait for him.
When I got there he was just pulling up in his car. It looked so expensive!
"Hey," I said as he got out of the car. I smiled at him, and he smiled back.
"You look so beautiful!" he said as he walked up to me. He leaned down and kissed me on the cheek. I blushed slightly.
"Thank you," I whispered.
He smiled at my shyness and walked over to the passenger car door. He opened it for me and took my hand. Gently, he pulled me over to him. He leaned in to kiss my lips. I decided to be a little playful so I giggled and sat down in the passenger seat, so he didn't get his kiss. Honestly I didn't think I was ready to kiss him yet. I always wanted my first kiss to be something really special. He frowned and leaned down again. He gently, but forcefully held my chin in his hands so I couldn't turn away. He kissed my lips gently. I enjoyed it, but I still wish he would have waited. I didn't want to let him know I was disappointed so I smiled at him. He must have sensed my tension because then he kissed the tip of my nose lightly. I couldn't help but giggle a little bit.
