Nate moved in front of Melony and I, trying to protect us. He glared intently at Alex as Melony held me closely.
Alex smirked and took a step forward. He held out his hand to me, and said in a soft and inviting tone, "Come here Kasey."
Nate pushed Alex's hand away angrily and said in a cold tone, "She's not going anywhere with you!"
"Oh I think she is," Alex said as he took a gun from an inside pocket on his jacket and pointed it towards Melony. "Kasey if you don't come here right now I'll kill her. Is that what you want?"
"No," I whimpered through my tears as I took a step towards him. I tried to force myself to move forward, but my body refused. He reached forward and pulled me to him. I yelped out of fear, but was too afraid for Melony to pull away.
"If either of you two tell anyone about this I'll kill her. Understand?" he asked them in a stern tone.
They both nodded out of fear. He grabbed my wrist tightly and put his gun away. "We're going back to my house for a while. If you create a scene I promise you that you'll regret it later." he whispered angrily.
I tried to hide my pain and fear as he pulled me along behind him out to his truck. He managed to get me outside without any teachers noticing, but by the time he got me there I had a bruise on my wrist where he had been holding.
