I giggled a little bit and said, "Well, that's good."

"It's definatly good, becuase now I can ask you to go to a party with me tonight...as my date," he said as he played with my hair.

"There's no point in even asking my parents. As soon as they hear the word party it will be an instant no." I said sadly.

"You could always sneak out," he said with a sly smile on his face.

"But I'm supposed to listen to my elders...remember?" I pointed out while I laughed a little.

"But only when I'm trying to get them to like me," he said as he chuckled.

"Fine, but how am I supposed to know where the party is?" I asked.

"I'll meet you at your window tonight at around 9," he said as he stopped playing with my hair and stood up.

"Perfect...where are you going?" I asked as he walked to my bedroom door.

"If I'm going out with a beautiful girl like you tonight I have to go start getting ready," he said as he patted his leg, calling Maxy over to him. "C-ya tonight!" He walked out the door and left me there to get ready. I thought about telling Melony about Alex and the party, but I decided against it. We hadn't spoken in a year so why start then?

I decided to not bother getting ready till about 6. Then I spent an hour trying to pick out the perfect outfit for a perfect night. I decided to wear a tight black long-sleeved mini dress, along with my favorite knee high rocker boots. I straightened my hair and spent a few extra minutes parting it perfectly. The dress showed off my figure and my hair ws actually behaving itself. Everything was adding up for a perfect night!

Finally 9 rolled around and I snuck out of the cabin as quiet as a mouse. I don't think I had ever been so quiet. I saw Alex waiting at the end of the driveway for me. Quietly I walked up behind him and put my hands over his eyes while standing on my tip toes. "Guess who?" I said quietly.

I could feel the smiel form on his face. He took my hands and then turned around. "Wow! You look amazing," he said as he gave me a kiss softly on the lips.
