"The new kid?" Nate asked in disbelief.
All I could do was nod my head.
"I"m gonna kill him!" he stated angrily as he started to leave. I quickly grabbed his arm and made him stop.
"Nate you can't! He said if I told anybody he'd kill people I love. Then he said he'd kill me. Please don't let him know that you know Nate. Please!" I begged as I started to cry harder.
Again he embraced me. After a few minutes he whispered, "I won't do anything you don't want me to do Kasey. Do you want to talk about it?"
Just then the door opened. I froze, thinking that it might be Alex, but instead I saw my twin sister Melony standing there.
"What's wrong?" she asked when she saw me. Nate was my only friend that she actually got along with, so I wasn't surprised when she spoke to him.
I wasn't sure if I wanted her to know, but Nate told her anyway. He probably thought that since she was my twin I would be fine with her knowing. "Alex raped her," he said quietly, while still holding me tight to his body. I didn't mind. I felt safe with him.
"The guy that you meant at the cabin?" Melony asked in disbelief.
I nodded my head, as the tears started to flow a little harder. She was almost instantly by my side with her arm wrapped around me. I moved so that instead of hugging Nate I was hugging her.
"Isn't this cute!" I heard Alex say from the bathroom doorway.
