Did you ever feel like someone was watching you?
I always feel that way.
Big Brother stalks you
Looking over your shoulder
Just waiting for you to fail
Did you ever feel like no one cares?
I always feel that way
The crowd pushes past you
Knocking you down because
You don’t matter to them
Did you ever feel like life has no meaning?
I always feel that way
The world is dark and dreary
Cruel, cold, and just
Unforgiving
Did you ever feel like you wanted to die
I always feel that way
The knife dances by your neck
The gun wants to sing
You wish you had the strength
Did you ever feel like there was hope?
They always feel that way
So why can’t I
Just smile and laugh
Instead of wishing life away?
