Telling tales
Talking ‘bout forever
But what is forever to you?
When you’re still in school
Kids having kids
Unprepared for the real world
Starting their life, before they experience life
It’s too late, to take back
To say you don’t want to
To say you quit
It’s too late, to say you’re sorry
Unaware of the consciences of one night of fun
Unsuspecting of what they have done
Love words spoken in a lustful haze
But what happens when he doesn’t stay?
When he walks away?
A kiss, a touch
In a fever, in a rush
No thought about after
No thought about tomorrow
They think they know all
He promises he will call
He talks of forever
But what is forever when you’re still in school?
Unsuspecting and unknowing of the world?
It’s too late, to take back
To say you don’t want to
To say you quit
It’s too late, to say you’re sorry
