The monsters, the demons,
Pulled at her clinging soul
Not listening to reason
It's heart was black as coal

She fought the heartless beasts
But she could never win
Upon her soul it feasts
Such a tragic sin

She left behind a note
And she was soon crying
At the things that she wrote
About her plans for dying

Thanks. Kinda wrote this during my emo phase. Thank goodness I'm over that now. :)

Love the imagery, it made my heart sink into a pit of cold icy water. I love this kind of thing, the ones that give me chills. :)

Ooh, "it made my heart sink into a pit of cold icy water". Love this... Can I use it in once of my poems? Please? :P
