She sits there staring
Feeling lost feeling that she has nothing
She wish that she could have been there how it plays over and over
How she wish her friend would have told her what when and why
As she watch her friend on the hospital bed laying there breathlessly not moving
The memories charge back into her like electric bolts shocking through her every second of the day
Her friend kept secrets when they told everything to each other she wish she could have seen it sooner
Now her friend is in the hospital dying slowly and she can't even speak
Her friend is scared to speak of that night of how her dad left those marks across her sacred body her temple
How her dad would come in her room drag out the bed throw her down the stairs and she would come to school
Telling teachers it was a accident and how she swears now the girl wishes she could have seen the word help written across her face
How she could be there to hug her friend and say I will be here always now the girl is just staring saying to her self
Stay strong for her sake
