Dear soul, come forth and take a ride
Into my dark and dreary mind
Poor love, don't cry and please confide
Climb inthese arms you'll findso kind
My child, please wipe those wet, red eyes
And lay your head upon my chest
Hush now, you'll spoil my great suprise
So please don't speak andonly rest
Sweet dreams, dearchild, and sleep at ease
Your lovely heart beats dreamily
Don't stir, my love, but feel the breeze
For you, it'll soon mourn heavily
Sweet bride, my hunger yearns for you
Like a crazed animal; a beast
You won't believe me, but it's true:
That you, small lamb, will be my feast
