My new India
· My Friends, lend me your ears
· See how our Mother India is flowing tears
· We are doing cruelty to her more than she can bear
· Every day when we step out of our homes we are in fear
· Is this the India Mahatma Gandhi dreamt of?
· Far away from his aspirations it is being kept off
· We Boast of our country’s glorious past
· But now it is a broken mast
§ There was a time when its citizens were treated as slaves
§ It all started just by a mere foreign trade
§ People who sacrificed themselves were so brave
§ God rest their souls who are now in their graves
§ New Leaders of our nation have guts
§ To stop them from doing harm to it is must
§ Their hypocritical nature is well known
§ Still we are believing in them and giving them votes
Ø This is the India where leaders want money to fill their homes
Ø Where poor peasants are unable to give their loans
Ø Where corruption is soaring high above like kites
Ø It hurts me more than a scorpion bite
Ø Where crimes take place every day and night
Ø Has it become so dark that we aren’t seeing the light
§ Let us bring back the old Golden sparrow
§ Do not lose hope even when possibility is narrow
§ Take India out of the cold mist
§ Which had been taking brutal hits
§ It’s time to exercise some fists
§ Come out of the frozen pits
[ Friends we are the new generation of India
[ We can revolutionize it more than news from media
[ See our nation need us
[ Let us fill in us the patriotic lust
[ With which we can reframe the History
[ Save it from the heinous misery
