Oh sweet guardian,
a parent or not.

Oh sweet guardian,

a parent or not.

You are a road block,

where I am still caught.

Though love me you may,

hate occupies me.

You must understand,

I need to be free.

You have given me

life, and I thank you.

But I have to go,

I will miss you too.

My heart is to you,

I bid you adieu.
