Where did it all go wrong for us two
What ever happened to me and you?
We were such close friends, once upon a time
But now I’m left in this loneliness of mine
You were my best friend, or so I thought
Do you remember our closeness, or have you forgot?
The things that we did, the time that we spent
Then suddenly it all turned into torment
The memories we shared can’t be replaced
No matter how hard I try, they won’t erase
But there’s not just the good, there’s the bad as well
We had it all, but then we fell
You accused me of things I would never do
You blamed it on me, and I blamed it on you
Maybe I didn’t do as much as I should
I want you to know I did all that I could
Time has passed since our friendship was broken
Too many apologies left unspoken
I can’t change the past, but I can change right now
And make it less bitter for us somehow
We smile at eachother, nod and say hi
It’s strange how our friendship died
Do you regret it too, are you sad what we became?
We can act like we’re friends, but things can’t be the same
