Its only really gone once you own it
when its away its not really gone
if it is gone its just for the moment
we cope with the lie we live on
although laying with you is a blessing to me
it includes more than an atmosphere you can cut with a knife
more than common sense more than the eye can see
more than one needs in her life
of course we need to leave and separate
and further our distance
for the sake of our mental state
because things are just too inconsistent
I wanted no hurt involved no pain at all
but you, you insisted
by making me feel something so small
that is sadistic and twisted
everything could have gone to plan
could have worked the way it should
now I'm the dafty and you're the man
just like I knew it would
I needed this, you don't know how much
I am glad you're feeling strong
my skin gets goose bumps at your touch
and for me that is so wrong
I don't want to feel for you anymore
to care until my heart is content
I do care but nothing like before
everything I said I meant
In one split second all this could change again
misery will return to its way
despite all above despite the pain
it will be back maybe not now but someday
all we have is a lie but we will hold on
anyway its not really gone once you disown it
once you own it then its gone
so its gone for just the moment.
