how exactly do you define a friend?
How do you find that special person out of the crowd???

A friend is like a flower
a rose to be exact.
Or maybe like a brand new gate
that never comes unlatched
A friend is like an owl
both beautiful and wise
Or perhaps a friend is like a ghost
whose spirit never dies
A friend is like a heart that goes along till the end
WHere would we be in this world
if we didn't have a friend?!

I like how you capture the multiple types of friends out there in this piece. You have your doctor Phil friends. You may have you crazy Tom Cruise friends jumping on couches. lol I might have misspelled his last name go me. I could give more examples that should do though for now. Enjoyed this a bunch.

Owl is a good comparison but can be done like 'it is vigilant and awake when u sleep off' and a good friend takes care of u even when u r unaware....
lovely comparisons and very different....
by the way ENGINEERING is a great career....
