I love you
you gave me life
and power.
Every thing i've ever asked for.
I walk into our room
and see you
with her.
I scream
with all my might.
But I do not
drop to my knees
and cry.
Instead
I take off my ring
and throw it at you.
I run down the streets
into my lover's home
he holds me in his arms
as I tell him about
her.
In the end
I relize
that I have my lover.
The man I will marry.
I should thank her.
Because now
I can be with my lover.
But truly
I shouldn't be the one
to be mad.
because after all,
you've only had her
for a week.
But I've had my lover
since the first day
we met.
I lied
when I started talking
I do not
Love you
I love my lover
The one you never knew.
So I say goodbye
to my past life
to say hello
To my new Husband
that isn't you.
