together till the end....

Poetry By: Mary Jo
Young adult

one of my teachers(my favorte teacher, AKA my mom away from home) Ms. Wilkerson aproched me in the hall way. She told me to write a poem for one of my peers. Her mom may have cancer and she wanted me to write a poem with the message of I love you talk to me, to the mom. So I wrote it. I want opinions before i give it to my classmate.

As you should know,

I love you,

With all my heart and soul.

You are my mother,

and my best friend.

So you shouldn't be surprised,

About how worried I am.

You have been there,

All the time,

To pick me up when I fall,

and brush away my tears.

And now it's my turn.

My turn to hold your hand,

and help you through these times.

Please don't disagree,

and hide from me.

I am here to listen,

and care.

Nothing you tell me,

Would hurt me so much,

That I'd turn away.

Best friends,

Tell each other everything,

and stick together,

Till the end.
