What Did You Do Wrong?

Poetry By: Mewgmtm
Young adult

If any of you readers have ever lost someone close to you, then you will know the feeling that I am experiancing now. The different stages. From not taking it in, to grief, to anger, to doubt, to grief, and many other emotions, too.

You need to come back
You didn't deserve death
You're in an eternal rest
It was that evil cancer
Which pounced like a panther
Onto you for no reason
It chased you, with
Death at its claws,
Closing all doors.

Why did you have to go?
No one will ever know,
What you did to deserve this,
Or why you had to go through shit,
Your dad was a druggie,
He died, left your mummy,
Cancer all over,
You were always sober.

You never did one bad thing,
You were hoping, praying, wishing,
For a better life,
Than one with strife,
You didn't deserve a disaster,
You were a music master,
A god believer,
Never a deciever.

I can't believe you've gone,
Your death is like a bomb,
Times they will move on,
I won't forget, though you're gone,
How you loved me and trusted me,
You never would dump me,
You're gone and not coming back,
You were my brother, Jak.
