Scars of the Aftermath,
pale slopes on brilliant skin
Melded on the left – embedded
Shaped thick to thin
no Reasons known
no excuse
but the sweetest pain
sweetest sickness; all for you
So appealing to me
So in my trust
The rhythms, my melody – pure lust
yet lacking beauty,
Only ugliness in this deed
Only a cursed remembrance –
My memory
each broken cadence
Bearable; - endurable to me
I welcome the haunting
I greet the flickers of recognition
Those emotions you flaunt
The sweet, pathetic desire; passionate pain
I feel ivory hills on my skin; meshed
so brilliant
My scars of the Aftermath; fresh
