Trapped was my soul ,
Untold was the pain ,
When you left me ,
Just like a rose in the rain
Begged you to stay,
Yet you faded away,
Laughing at my weakness
Leaving my heart and my plea slain
Here i lie...
Craving to know what i lacked,
Or what mistake i had done,
While my mind back tracked
To the days when my life was aglow with sun
Yet i failed to find,
The wrong you found in me
I heard a phoenix sing,
Soothing clear...and loud
Urging me to get on a train
Which would take me to a station,
Filled with love and care
And would heal my pain
Thus ending my lamentation
Listened to her song
And followed the very directions
Got onto the train
Where it took me to the next station
Just as it was said in the song
So was i welcomed
With love and care
Just as the lovely phoenix sang
But the dear bird song was wrong
About the station healing my pain
For it was the phoenix itself,
Who freed my soul and ended my pain
She took the rose out of the rain,
And healed the heart which had been so slain
Her tender hands unchained me from you,
From my addiction to you
I laugh, love and care,
For the chains that held me to you are cut
And never would it touch my skin
Ever again in any lifetime....
