Sitting in a room,

Staring at blank walls,

Thinking of the dark heart,

Encased in cold ice,

Hearing the dying screams of memories,

Holding a grudge,

Against all humanity,

For pushing me toward the edge,

The edge of insanity,

The dark edge of a looming chasm,

Holding on to a hope,

A hope of some light in this dark

Blank room,

Just staring at the walls,

Hoping to find a light,

To climb my way out from this hole that is insanity,

Wanting to reach out and feel hand

take mine to pull me up and not push me down,

I think about this in my blank white room,

Sitting in a straight jacket,

Staring at the padded walls.
