Colour me beautiful… The ice cold blue of this frigid heart, Though black is not a colour, please colour me dark. Colour me red, the advocate of the devil The tempest who gave Adam, his first bite from the apple. Colour me purple, for I am greed Swollen is the lump in my belly, the devils seed. Colour me the faintest shade of green, I am a child in their mother’s arms, their deeds unseen Colour me faint, colour me gray, The darkness that corrupts your beautiful day Colour me almost purple, to be precise violet This is my beauty, I take the lead as I waltz with death Colour me burgundy, so deep and rich This colour of the highest class, the most hated Bitch Colour me beautiful, I dare you to taint my white I’m the beauty of the world, that never perceive the light Colour me an angel against the lamb, Colour me beautiful, but do you think you can? .................................
