Your black and white world

Poetry By: starpatterson
Young adult

Have you ever judged someone to quick or been judged to quick? Do you know what it feels like to be labeled? I think this poem can speak to everyone because everyone occasionally over looks things.

My darling how do you think so narrow minded

Your counting the places you see thinking your full of color but truly your blinded

You think that by brushing most off and making conclusions your truly unhuman

Really it'd be better if you saw like me everything clear and transparent as can be

Let people add colors as they go along don't judge a word they say until you've heard there hole song

Once you know there whole life there full of brilliant color and you can look past all bad's and learn to love each other

So darling the world is not your black and white if you decide a world of love and color is worth the fight
