Sometimes, I wonder what it's like

To look into your eyes and smile, brightly.

Sometimes, I think of what it would be like,

To place my lips on your neck,

And find out what you taste like.

At times, I pretend

That we're together and there's nothing in our way.

And that I can be with you,

Without having these thresholds.

I close my eyes,

And think what it would be like

To hide my head in your chest

And hear your heart beat,

Just for me.

Please, just listen for a minute,

I think my heart is beating your name, slightly.

I just like to pretend,

That you're here

And we can hold each other...

But this is only pretend...

Never the real thing.
