What I've done to you..

What have I done to you?

As I stare into the dark abyss of your eyes,

I silently scream at myself,

Creating a hole to crawl in to.

I unlocked your heart and reached in deep.

I held your soul in my hands, close to mine.

The blood didn't bother me,

It's the fact what I knew what I was going to do with it.

And, as I foretold, I crushed it,

Shoved it back into your open body,

And didn't even stitch up the wounds.

I just walked away.

I can say sorry

For the rest of eternity

As I'm rotting in hell

For what I've done,

Either way,

No matter how many times I say it to you,

It won't matter.

You've made up your mind,

What a smart thing it was to do,

And told yourself

Never to let me in again.

You're so smart,

Doing that...

Don't let me hurt you again.

Of course,

I will miss your company

And our time together,

But it's what we all must settle with,

As long as you're happy,

I'll try to be, too.

Just be safe,

Don't look back,

And let me slice myself open,

Just as I did to you.

I love you....

I'm so sorry.
