I'm still awake for you.
Bill's teeth were chattering because of the cold. He and Tom had gone out walking on the frozen lake. But around the middle of the lake they'd fallen through a patch of ice. Tom had been able to get out, but Bill couldn't. The water was numbing his body.
We won't make it through together.
We can't hide the truth
I'm giving up for you now.

"Come on Bill get your ass out now!" Tom said frustrated. He had tried to pull Bill out. But his fingers were too numb and stiff to lift his brother's weight. And Bill couldn't hold on much longer. Bill shook his head
"G-go." he managed to stutter.
My final wish will guide you out.
Before the oceans break apart.
Beneath me.
Remember.
Tom shook his head and again hopelessly tried to pull his little brother out of the water. Bill's final wish was that Tom would let him go.
Tom had called Gustav and told him what happened. Now supposedly a rescue team was on their way here.
To me you'll be forever sacred.
"You'll always be special to me." Bill softly said.
I'm dying but I know.
Our love will live.

Even as Bill was dying he knew his brother would always remember him.
Your hand above.
Like a dove.
Over me.

Tom stroked his little brother's hair. If not to comfort Bill then at the very least himself.
Remember.
To me you'll be forever sacred
.
"Remember." Bill whispered.
"Nein, nein your going to make it." Tom whispered back.
You break the ice when you speak.
With every breath you take.
You save me.

Every breath Tom took Bill knew his older brother was saving Bill from a troubled death. He was glad to know his older brother would live. Even if Bill had to be the sacrifice for that.
I know that one day.
We'll meet again.
Try to go on as long as you can.
Bill knew someday he and his brother would meet again. Not in life but death. He hoped Tom's death would not come for a very long time.
Even when the oceans break apart.
Underneath you.
Remember.
To me you'll be forever sacred.
Bill gave what he hoped was some sort of smile. He couldn't be sure because his face was so cold.
I'm dying but I know.
Our love will live.
Your hand above.
Like a dove.
Over me.
He watched as Tom's hands moved restlessly above him. And Bill noticed his hands were very pale. Almost white like the color of a dove.
Remember.
To me you'll be forever sacred.

Remember, remember that your sacred to me Bill thought. As if trying to send the message to Tom without talking.
Forever you.
Forever sacred.
Forever you.
It was the phrase thought over and over as Bill felt himself begin to slip just a little further under water.
In your eyes.
I see the hope.
I once knew.
I'm sinking.
I'm sinking.
Away from you.
Bill saw the last of the futile hope that had taken residence in Tom's eyes die.
"Go!" Bill whispered Tom nodded. He seemed like a puppet now controlled by Bill and began to walk away.
Don't turn around.
You'll see.
You can make it.
Never forget.
But Tom stopped after a moment. Tom wanted so badly to go back to his baby brother. To not let him die alone. And Bill knew Tom wanted to do this. But he would not let his older brother come back."Don't you turn around!" Bill yelled using the last of his strength.
To me you'll be forever sacred.
I'm dying but I know.
Our love will live.

There was no escaping the knowledge that Bill was going to truly die. But their bond would live on.
Your hand above.
Like a dove.
Over me.

He recalled the feel of Tom's fingers in his hair. Bill wanted at least a little comfort before he went to the grave.
And one day.
The sea will guide you.
Back to me.

And someday the drag of death would bring Tom to him.
Remember.
To me you'll be forever sacred.
To me you'll be forever sacred.
Sacred to me Bill thought smiling to himself. It was then his heart stopped it's slow beating.
And Bill Kaulitz died with a smile on his face.
