Note: When you ask me to comment on your work, I will, but I also expect that you comment back on some of my work :)
"Constructive criticism is the process of offering valid and well-reasoned opinions about the work of others, usually involving both positive and negative comments, in a friendly manner rather than an oppositional one. In collaborative work, this kind of criticism is often a valuable tool in raising and maintaining performance standards."
I like and Look for Constructive Criticism :)
Just so everyone knows there is a fine line between constructive Criticism and just being a belittling shit. There is a difference between pointing out a spelling mistake (which I love when people do!) and trying to make someone feel like crap for a grammar mistake. I won't tolerate the last one unless it is totally justified, which usually it isn't as most spelling mistakes can be pointed out in a nice way without making someone feel inferior.
Again thanks to all the people who have helped me improve my writing :D. My mistakes are sometimes just stupid, sometimes honest mistakes of ignorance, and other times my mistakes come from trying to translate french for homework at the same time as I'm writing. I thank all of you guys for finding them and pointing them out to me and hope to receive more comments like them in the near future.
My name is Amellia Lowe...I stick to writing fantasy stories, mostly for Epic or Heroic. I would like to have one of my stories written well enough that it's ready for publishing, but at the current moment, none of them are quite there yet.
I have 3 cats(Sunshine, Greystoke, and Arcon) four chickens (Miss peeps, Jemima, Red and Blue) and two goldfish (Mr. T, Nemo) I ride horses whenever possible. My usual riding horse is a gray Arabian called Sagedust (she's a bit of a drama queen). I also ride a prideful Appolosa named Savvy (she doesn't like to wait for anything), an easy going retired trail horse of draft and quarter decent named Duke, when she's not to tired Shilo (She's 27 years old and loves to sleep walk >.<). I try to spend as much time possible writing and reading, but school comes firsts so sorry if I'm a bit slow when it comes to posting work. On saturday we added a rabbit and a RussinTortoise to our family. -.-
