Born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico in March, 1984. Growing up, I always had a passion for writing and arts. Always wrote down every emotion I felt since I was a teenager. Writing has always been my outlet and my way to escape from reality. When I joined the military and deployed to combat zones I wrote down every feeling I felt, every bad thing that happened and decided to burn the book when I came back as a symbol of closing a chapter. My dream is to one day write my autobiography and a poem's book. My inspiration comes from my struggles living life with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder from the war and childhood, my favorite poet, even though many didn't consider him as a poet, is Tupac Amaru Shakur and of course GOD. The way Tupac Amaru Shakur used too express himself was so unique, raw and real that I knew I wanted to write just like him. The most important thing I learned from Tupac Amaru Shakur's writing was to never leave any feeling inside and always write exactly what I feel because when you write exactly what you feel it's like magic coming out and the way it comes together it's beautiful and powerful. Hopefully, many of you can feel exactly what I was feeling when I wrote my poems and understand the messages and my struggles.
