Always thought about it. Never truly grasped it. I wonder how long it'll be before we meet it.
Nothing special. Just some words I slapped on with a keyboard. Call it what you will. It'll be dust, but at least it was poetic dust?

Death is a strange thought,
Everyday a soul dives into the broth.
But a question has risen everyday,
What happens when you meet Death’s way?

I don't know, for I am one Christian man.
I cannot explain for every human.
An interesting thought passes my mind,
One that leaves my brain confined.

I try to feel death, feel pain.
I feel it stop, and I see nothing that would have been lain.
I see myself now waiting in Christ’s Purgatory.
Patient, until I go into my chosen territory.

Then, my mind is back.
Death is gone, the image retracts.
The memory cannot be retrieved,
Almost as if it's existence had ceased.

I'm back in real life,
As if everything was back and in might.
I try to pull the memory back some more,
But I give up, returning to complete my schoolwork.
