Should death be a shadowed face

Draped in a clock of black,

Or a valley filled with painful dues

For the strength that I once lacked?

What is death, just another step?

It seems so far but is so near.

It’s not death that pains us so,

It’s the fear of our own fear.

So when it comes I'll not fret

As I’m lead to a different zone.

It may be that I will find

That death’s a sweeter home.
