Yellow is the color of the sun, Beating down on a fresh spring meadow. Yellow are the flowers she picks and plucks at; "He loves me, he loves me not, he loves me, he loves me not" Then she runs out of pedals.

Yellow is the color of her car, Racing down a forgotten back road. Yellow is the caution sign that warns of a cliff. She slams on the breaks, the car wont stop, The pedals dont work.

Yellow is the color of the sun, Bearing down on her funeral. Yellow are the flowers on her casket, Layed there by her husband, The pedals are wilted.
