I was there whan it started,

A firery hell and fury upon the wk of man,

the days that left nations parted,

and warriors fought for others Land.

I was there in Europe,

the Roman empire was booming,

they had the enemies hanging from a rope,

and on it there destruction looming.

i was there in in Britain,

when the vikings came raiding,

the saxons led on by there lanten,

the natives had no saving.

again in the america's,

fighting the old king,

we had prayed for myricles,

but the white man had his win.

Again in europe,

through fields and praries,

trenches and sea's,

through pencils in diaries,

for War will forever be,

no love or glory in it,

all will end up in a pit, just under six foot deep,

and yet so many men still take that leap...
