The brightest light,
In my life,
Your soul was like a flame.
Wild and untame.

It flickered on,
(though)It burned so many.
Just as man do,
they came to hate you.

But I never knew that hate;
For your flame
Never burned me.

Rather,
it kept me warm,
when I grew cold.
And guided me
When my path was dark.

Your flame which hurt so many,
only ever cared for me.
But now,
Your flames burned out.
