Day at the beach

I sat on the chair with cool sea breeze brushing on my face, the café, my sanctuary from the blazing sun. I was alone, waiting for my friend, while I indulge myself to the sweet aroma of the freshly baked Arabica coffee, my nose overwhelm by the sweet caramel  cup of cappuccino while my eyes were deeply engaged in the captivating barista, my heart held hostage by her mesmerizing eyes,  her gracious movement and her swaying hips. I wink at her as I rose up elegantly, offering her a cup of coffee in addition to her cell phone number. She flushed as I flirted with her, her face shot up a bright red while her other colleague were eyeing us, green with envy, and as usual she succumbed to my charming looks, one of the many  victories which were added to my list of names.

I went back to my table and let relax myself as the distant laughter and shouts began to make their way up to my ears. At the bustling harbor, traffics were everywhere, the honks and soot from the vehicles, everything were unbearable except for the sea. The bluish sea which was irradiated by the sunlight. It was like myriads of blue gems were shinning and it made the colour more gorgeous. The breeze stoked my face smoothly and the seawater also smoothly waved. The birds and the wave were performing a symphony and I was one of the audiences. When I closed my eyes, I could feel the peace and it was really comfortable. This is one of my many times to see such a charming sea view and I fell in love with sea every time I watch the sea gushing up the harbor.

The summer sun made everyone in the vicinity sweat and some of them were pleasantly basking under the scorching sun, the sea birds were singing in the sky, flying in circles above the beautiful sea. Eyeing any food that they could forage, waiting patiently for the perfect opportunity to snatch them without people noticing them as well as their predator, stray cats and dogs, sniffing around, foraging for food.

Sipping the cup of coffee, its bitterness not too strong enhanced with a tinge of mild fruity flavor, as the liquid made its way to my mouth, the rich delicate taste overwhelm me as I close my eyes to enjoy it, people were walking on the sun-burned pavement taking pictures of the whale which had emerged from the deep sea to catch a breath, shortly after the turbulence it created along its rise, tourist awed in its majesty while some of them were not paying attention as it was quite a common thing if you visit the beach often enough.
