Never forgetting, a memory etched in our mind’s eye

Sweeter than any syrupy sweet, a taste so lovely

He cared for the living, cared for the ill, cared for the parted

Big or small, human or not, fury or bare, pretty or not

A true treat he was indeed, like chocolate cake or apple pie

Eat him up, any could, he gave no rotten teeth

Like the quiet spring breeze, oh how so gentle he was

His smile so soft like that of a loving tapir

His motion, his grace, so renown, so elegant yet unoticed

His voice like that of the charming humpback whale of the sea

His breath so refreshing, as if he made the summer wind

His hair, fluffed passed with bounces quieter than the still night

Locks and strains of molted gold, able to anger any jealous sun, any envious star

Skin smother than the snow, tanner than the moving grains sand

Eyes no ocean could rival, made Poseidon desire their command

Height worthy that Mount Fuji and Mount Everest gave approval

And muscle that made any Greek man, any Greek statue cry self-pity

He was a sweet treat, a very sweet treat indeed

A treat wanted by Poseidon, the great mountain, and the ancients,

A treat wanted by the natures of the world and its creatures

Never forgetting, a memory etched in our mind’s eye

Sweeter than any syrupy sweet, a taste so lovely

He was a sweet treat, a very sweet treat indeed
