But if you look beyond the frustration and concentrate on your goals, you will receive what you have been wanting, to succeed. Rodeo is like any other sport, it takes hard work and practice. If you don’t practice you aren’t going to get any better, if you practice though you will feel successful with even the slightest amount of improvement. Working with horses is hard because you are teaching them lessons, good or bad, everyday and if you work hard and don’t give up on them, they will never fail you. Rodeo is more of an individual sport because you aren’t really on a team, the amount of practice you put in will prove how successful you will be and you can’t depend on anyone else to make up for your lost time. Rodeo isn’t a drawn out process when you are competing, you have one shot and that is it, if you aren’t practicing you will be wasting money and your time because you cannot make up for a mess up that happens in the arena due to your lack of commitment. Rodeo gives you literally seconds to accomplish your goals and if you aren’t working towards your goals everyday out of competition, those few seconds you get in the arena will never take you farther.
