Love is a disease,

A ruthless little rash,

All you once held dear,

Turned into ash.

Once you've been struck

With it's mighty blow,

You are kept in pieces,

Dying on the floor.

And again she'll lift you,

Higher than before.

And she will kiss your bruises,

And worship your sores.

But all that love so pure

To vanity will fall,

Better I have died

On that bloody floor.
