This is a poem I wrote for my sister when I was a lot younger, She was going through a tough time and I thought it would put a smile on her face

'Look On the Good Side'

It's funny how we can make people laugh,

even just by saying "You're having a giraffe".

Just to see a tiny smile,

Even for a little while

Can in return make you feel glad

And think that maybe life's not so bad.

Think of all that we have got,

It's worth more than a rainbow's golden pot.

We have family, friends and so much more,

Just think what life has brought through the door.

All the comfort from those we know,

Through the times when we're feeling low.

Thank yourself that you make others proud,

And that you remove their grievious cloud.

When we make others smile, just remember

That they love you and will forever.

That is the one thing no one can take away,

The love, hope and laughter they send your way.

Everybody has somebody,

I have you and you have me,

That is the way it'll always be,

And sooner or later you will see,

That what I say is true

And the love will stick to you like glue.
