Lost Favors

Trivial condolences

Sent to the now-and-thens

Too soft, are the powerless nothingnesses

That jump up and bight me on my ass

And then send me to the whereabouts

Of where ever the Hell I went about

My own God damned way

Not being able to say my own name

My fucked up conscious thoughts

Never knew when the time to stop was

So I am left in my own blame

I point the finger at myself

Not knowing I am pointing at me

And when I see my world

Spinning out of control

I can only be lost

In my own damned world

The favors of friendships

That were taken away from me

Dims my world around me

A shrinking friends' list

Battling to be a man

But honestly not knowing what it takes

To not be by myself everyday
