Winning has had not been that easy or a rosy path in any field(s). You strive to get. Willingness, desire, passion, focus, target oriented had been the key words. Learn, plan, practice on pen and paper, at the back of your mind, execute and as had always been analyse the preliminary results and take corrective steps as and when required to improve and achieve the Perfect Score.

Yesterday I happened to pass through the Sparkz, New Alipore, a bowling center, on my way to Howrah Station. I had seen bowling couple of times in a popular sports channel on the TV. The first time I entered the centerstage, all the lanes, excepting two were occupied. The scoreboard above each of the lanes were ticking up in double digits with every strike. I was accompaning my CCFIL colleagues. I was a novice. Did not even know how to grip the ball. While others were striking scores, my throws were going astray. I realised that each coloured ball weighted differently. At our two lanes all others were scaling their scores in geometric progression, my score was ticking slowly just to keep me alive in the game. I took a minutes time to walk past all the active lanes to study the body postures, eye levels, the colour of the balls just to acquiant myself with the techniques and strategies of the game. Taking a deep breadth and then exhale (to aid my concentration and aim). I returned back as others were sarcastically asking 'what happened, buddy'. Subsequently none of the balls went off the track. And then all shots were converted into near perfect with six perfect hits. Head leveled to the track, right from picking up the heaviest ball which I made my self comfortable in griping, eyes focussed on the target, body poised to support my arms and wrist to hit the bottle to achieve the Perfect. As the title goes, my score zoomed.
