My minds been asleep,

My body's an empty vessel,

Fueled by a single desire,

To wake up my mind, and make things better.

Darkness is a film over my eye,

For that my visions blurred,

I'm lost in the dark,

And want to find the light.

I am alone as one,

Just as one is alone,

The thought itself scares me,

But in time it'll be reality.

I feel as if I'm suffocating,

As if I'm hanging from a tree,

I try to relax,

But that makes me too vulnerable.

Tick tock the clock counts down,

So much I need,

So much I want,

But tomorrow might never come.

This freak is in town,

And has many problems,

Many fears and hopes,

He hopes that one day,

the darkness will fade,

And he'll be awake.
